Fairview became a dual-site church when Fairview at River Club opened in May of 2008. The new facility is in Spotsylvania County – approximately 4 miles from the current church facility in the city of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Our mission is to provide a place for people to witness, serve, and grow the body of Christ by spreading the Holy Word of God and building relationships with the living person of Jesus Christ. This building functions as a multipurpose facility to support ministries serving this community, for all age groups. The building was designed for a capacity of 733, which includes a multipurpose room for worship and athletic activities, classrooms, fellowship hall seating for 335, and a full kitchen to support large groups.
A contemporary style worship service and programs that give particular attention to children and youth is provided on Sundays. Programs for adults and seniors are provided that meet needs identified in research conducted within this very community.
Our desire for this facility is that it not be seen as just a building, but a place where life abounds. We hope it will serve to assist families with meeting needs and coping with the demands of today. We hope that it will provide a focus on family values that are Christ centered. We hope that the body of Christ, in this case the membership of Fairview, will live and grow as we have done for so many years, providing the sweet spirit that is found in our current facility.
