WMU AT FAIRVIEW BAPTIST
In 1888, the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) was organized to challenge individuals and churches to carry out the Great Commission. So WMU’s primary focus is Missions and evangelism. It challenges Christian believers to understand and be involved in missions of God. This can be done by praying, doing missions, learning about missions, and developing a mission lifestyle, giving to missions, and being a part of the church and the denominational work.
Among other mission opportunities, we promote the State Mission Offering, The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.
