Rebuilding Together Work Day
April 27, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Rebuilding Together Fredericksburg is a local non-profit organization that repairs and refurbishes homes for low income and disable individuals in the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford and Spotsylvania.
Homeowners can apply or be recommended by a friend or organization. Applications must be made and sent to Rebuilding Together. A Rebuilding Together Board Committee visits the home, meets the family and goes over the requests and decides whether to do the project.
Our assigned home (trailer) belongs to a family who lives in the Sylvania Heights area. You can look at the pictures on the bulletin board to see what we will be doing. This will not require a lot of workers. Also, you must be 16 years old to volunteer.
There is a Rebuilding Together bulletin board that includes some past Rebuilding Together pictures along with the sign-up sheet. Please write very clearly. We will receive tee-shirts, so indicate your size. There is a lot of preparation ahead of time to be ready; please sign up quickly.
Steve Masters will be the House Captain for our project. We look forward to working with him and the entire team. Everything will be purchased and be on the job Saturday, April 27th – the Rebuilding Together work day.
